The fourth Hadfield Open Art Show took  place over the weekend of June 21/22 at Hadfield Hall, with a preview on the evening of Friday 20th. A popular and successful event in the calendar of Friends of Hadfield Hall, Hadfield Open Art Show draws artists, photographers, 3-D and ceramic craft-workers and sculptors, not only from the Glossop/Hadfield area but also from further afield.

Thanks to the involvement of new sponsors and extra categories in which to enter, more prizes were awarded.  Ghislaine & Michael Howard, both nationally- known artists from Glossop, opened  the show and judged some of the artwork.

The young people’s choir Rachael’s Voices sang at 2p.m. on the Sunday afternoon.
